NOW that the majority of acts for Glastonbury 2017…

have been (more or less) confirmed; it is worth having a good look and seeing just what the standard is. With any festival, there is going to be some divides of quality: music is subjective so everyone will have a different opinion of the bill. I have expressed my dissatisfaction with the headliners announced – aside from Radiohead, naturally. The three headline acts show the full range of Glastonbury’s sensibilities: the solid Rock geniuses to the predictable, easy booking of Foo Fighters; the rather mainstream and underwhelming Pop/Acoustic artist (Ed Sheeran). Look further down the bill and you have surprise booking like Katy Perry to more expected announcements like Glass Animals and Stormzy. There is so much for everyone at Worthy Farm. Maybe the main artists are not that terrific but that is not to say there is a shortage of quality and variation. In that spirit, I have collated songs from the acts confirmed for Glastonbury 2017. The rundown of songs just shows you how diverse …
GLASTONBURY really is.
